By the time we were ready for bed last night we had received 2 e-mails from the advocate saying that what we wanted to do was impossible...as a matter of fact, we MUST live in Kenya for at least 3 months before the adoption process could begin...which for us is just not possible.

 

We did, however have an appointment with a judge this morning.  We forged ahead with much prayer and understanding that we ultimately are not in charge and we also were not giving up so easily.  After our meeting with the judge, there was a lot to be hopeful about.  There are so many details we are leaving out but please know that we covet your prayers still.  It is now 7 in the evening and the ball is moving in the right direction.  We have secured the right advocate. The judge is going above the call of duty to make all the necessary arrangments and appointments we need. Our next step is at 11:00 am Wednesday, with the magistrate who will view the paperwork.
